Dr. London’s Experience
‘ Dr. Zev, ’ as he is often referred to by his patients and friends, was born in New York City and grew up primarily in northern New Jersey. He graduated from Rutgers University in 1979 with a biology degree. Interestingly, he considered graduate school in marine biology working with invertebrates!
Two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Sierra Leone, West Africa, teaching high school, helped to shape his world views. Dr. Zev believes the opportunities and blessings available to one raised in America should be shared and thus best utilized if shared with others.
After four years of Chiropractic College in Chicago, Dr. London graduated with honors (cum laude), moved to Hilo (Hawaii) in 1986, and started his first practice. In 1994, Dr. London moved to Portland, Oregon where he was a staff clinician at the student health center of Western States Chiropractic College. He was one of four clinicians responsible for the care of approximately five hundred students in addition to teaching third-year interns all aspects of patient care. In 1998, he moved to Brookline and started the Brookline Family Chiropractic Center.
Dr. London worked as a teaching assistant in the anatomy department of the National College of Chiropractic. He also worked with Beth Israel Deaconess’ Center for Alternative Medicine Research and Education. He was a treatment provider for the NIH funded study, "Treatment of Acute Low Back Pain".
